Water Polo Queensland have recently announced that the second year of the WPQ Premier League will commence on Sunday 17th October with the first Round to be hosted by the Gold Coast Water Polo Association at the world class Gold Coast Aquatic Centre in Southport.
The Premier League will be held across an 8 week period with 4 Rounds (3 rounds plus finals) being played every second Sunday and played as per the schedule below. It involves the best six (6) best men’s and women’s teams from across Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and the Gold Coast.
Premier League Dates: (Proposed @ 14 April - Subject to Confirmation)
Round 1: Sunday 17 October - Gold Coast Aquatic Centre
Round 2: Sunday 31st October - Valley Pool
Round 3: Sunday 14 November - St Andrew's Anglican College
Finals: 28 November - Valley Pool
