Hey everyone!
We have some exciting news - training will recommence on Sunday the 2nd of March!! Due to last minute significant price increases at UQ Pool, we will be moving senior activities to Musgrave Park Swim Centre located in West End, while we continue to negotiate.
This means we will be taking a break from Social Sundays this semester, as the rise in price would not be feasible for most players, and we don't want to run training and games back to back, since we can't use UQ Pool on Wednesdays anymore. This doesn't mean the end - we would love to get Social Sunday back up and running once we've renegotiated.
Alternatively for our social players, we will be entering teams into the BWPI Senior Social Competition. For our competitive players, we will be participating in the Brisbane Metropolitan Senior Competition.
Finally, we will be attending a trivia night @ The Regatta Hotel on Monday the 10th of March! For more information on training, competitions, and events - read below!

- Training will run for 12 weeks from the 2nd of March - 1st of June, with a 2 week break (13th + 20th April)
- Will be on Sunday afternoons from 1:30-3:30 @ Musgrave Park Swim Centre in West End
- Prices are being finalised as we confirm with the coach, and a payment link will be sent out soon. Cost will be $110-$120.
- The first training session will be a free come and try session, for those who are testing the waters and trying out/getting back into water polo (strong swimming skills required). If you choose to return in week 2 you will be required to pay.
- This will be our pre-season training before the comps start back in April - we'll keep it fun and social while still focusing on skill building and improvement

BWPI Senior Social Competition
- Tuesday nights @ The Valley Pool
- $1500 per team. $115-150pp depending on numbers
- For players who'd like a lower stakes, less intense water polo experience
- April start
Brisbane Metropolitan Senior Competition
- Thursday nights @ The Valley Pool
- $600 per team + a WPQ registration fee
- For experienced and competitive players
- Late April start

| To celebrate the start of the season and semester, we will be attending Trivia @ The Regatta Hotel on Monday 10th of March. It's free to come along, so brush up on your fun facts and we'll see you there. Stay tuned for more details. |

It's also not too late to register your interest in the Queensland State Titles! Details are below:
- Will run from the 10th-13th April 2025 at the Gold Coast Aquatic Centre
- Women's competition only - unfortunately due to lack of interest the men's competition will not be going ahead
- Open age group
- Previous competitive water polo experience highly recommended
