For the first time, UQ Waterpolo Club is seeking sponsorship packages from organisation that have an interest in supporting community sport and value the connection with UQ. The funds generated will be greatly appreciated by the club community and carefully allocated towards ever-increasing expenses such as pool hire, sports equipment, coaching staff and assisting players registration fees due to financial hardship.
Some information about the club:
- Not for profit community club run by a committee of volunteers
- Most successful Waterpolo club in QLD
- Weekly completion for ages groups U12 through to Opens
- 400+ registered players, coaches and referees
- Players and supporters from Brisbane, Sunshine and Gold Coast
- The club has produced past, current and likely future Olympians. Paris was a great success for a number of players who have developed through our waterpolo program in the Mens and Womens teams and Brisbane Olympics in 2032 will be amazing to be a part of.
- Competes in the Brisbane Comp, State and National Championships. Brisbane is the host city for the national championship every 2nd year and attracts 5,000+ visitors
- Strong weekly attendance at games from players, coaches & spectators
- Key tournaments live streamed by News Corps Kommunity TV
