Referee Nominations & Payments

As outlined in the recent survey results, clubs are required to provide one (1) referee for every two (2) teams nominated by the club. Water Polo Queensland will be making contact with all current and former referees. We ask that clubs also pass on the referee nomination link to the referees within your club. For referee nominations please click here: https://www.waterpoloqld.com.au/events/110736/

The competition will follow the same payment scale as the 2020/2021 season:

Unqualified - $10/game (must be under the supervision of a mentor or assessor)

Community - $15/game

Development - $20/game

Advanced - $25/game

Pool Coordinators - $25/game

A key change for payment of referees in the 2021/2022 season is that all Pool Coordinators and Referee’s will be paid fortnightly.
